Compton wanted to celebrate their 5th birthday, show what they've built so far and, like their approach, do it differently. We saw it as a chance to expand their reach beyond their immediate sector, connecting with a wider audience through a powerful, shared truth.
Solution
Most real estate content leans on numbers and features. It’s easy to scroll past. We focused on something more universal: when is the “right time” to act? That truth runs through Compton’s story. So we built a film around it and wrote and recorded an original song that tells their journey through that lens. Something that is true to them, and relatable to anyone building something of their own.
Results
The film was shared across multiple founder and brand accounts and quickly became one of the most talked about pieces of content seen in the industry. Estimated combined results across the rollout: • 55,000+ impressions - 25× the competitor average of 2,200 • 27,000 - 31,000 views • 520 - 610 hours watched • 250+ comments • 45% completion rate — around 3× higher than the LinkedIn average 16% By wrapping Compton’s story around a truth leaders already recognise, the film gave people a reason to care and it went well beyond their network and the industry, to help them be remembered for the future.
